For this exhibition, Krista Mary Martin has created a new and desk-specific variant among an ongoing series of semi-functional sculptures which she has been developing since 2015. Titled Multi and Single-person Ashtray, the one person and two persons ashtray includes a transparent materials list (adhesive, petroleum jelly, cement, polyurethane foam, plaster, latex primer and cigarette(s)) and accompaniment of personalized matchbooks featuring a one-line poem written by the artist.

Krista Mary Martin (b. 1989 Hartford, CT), lives and works in Los Angeles, CA. Her work has recently been included in exhibitions at Roberts Projects, Culver City, US and A MAIOR, Viseu, PT.
